Replacement Basement Hopper Windows
On this project we replaced 6 basement hopper windows with new vinyl hopper windows. The old windows were both caulked and screwed shut in an attempt to fight the cold drafts. With the windows sealed shut the basement was left with no way to provide fresh air during the summer.
With the new hopper window installed the basement is now protected from the weather with double pane glass with Low E glass. The replacement hopper window tilts in and features a full screen to provide plenty of fresh air. Since the new window is made of vinyl it never requires painting and will provide a long service life with zero maintenance. If you look at the before picture you will notice condensation on the window. Our replacement window has a high condensation resistance and our client will now enjoy nice dry windows.
