If you are looking to replace your bay window you must be suffering from fogged up windows or a bay window that is saggy and hard to open. A new bay window will correct these problems while giving you the benefits of new double or triple pane glass. Relax, your new bay window is can be installed in about a month! On this project in Norfolk MA, we replaced all of the windows on the 2nd floor along with a patio door and a large bay window. The existing bay window had all sorts of rot and the base of the window leaned outward causing the side windows to not open. The frame on both the inside and the outside was a dark color that actually made the large bay window seem much smaller.
The new bay window is made of vinyl on the outside so rot will never be an issue. The window was trimmed on the outside with a cellular PVC product that will last a lifetime and it can be painted. On the inside, 3.5" colonial trim was used to cover up the old "wall print" saving the walls from requiring any patching work or paint.
